Edison 3x3x3 Spring, Screw and Washers HELP!

Hi,

The tension on my Edison cube is quite strange.

The cube is at it's tightest, meaning that I cannot screw the screws in any further.
But my cube is still too loose, sometimes I have to slow down for the cube to not pop.

And furthermore, sometimes, the screws mysteriously become looser, especially on the white side.

I've tried switching the core/spring/washer/screw set with my maru one but that just removes the nice feel.



SOOO, I was wondering if anyone knows why this is happening and how I could fix or "treat" it.

The yellow side on my Edison is really looser than all of the other sides. I looked into this and I discovered that the spring was missing. No matter how much I tighten the side it doesn't get tighter! Maybe this is your problem.
