The 5x5x5 is the cube I'm the worst at. I still average around 4:30

My biggest problem, is pairing the edges. I only pair one piece at a time, by using r U L U' r'

Where is a good tutorial, or just good algorithms for pairing the edges using the advanced method?

Two days ago I was around 2:25 average now 2:05 average with Arnauds method! :D
I definately recommend this method, you just keep turning with it. :)

There is really only ONE algo needed for edge parity, regardless what method you are using. You can of course learn all the last 2 edges cases on bigcubes.com or just pair the edge number 11 on it's own and be left with a parity. If you use a reduction method like ce3.

The algo to use is simply: l' U2 l' U2 F2 l' F2 r U2 r' U2 l2.

Well, so how do i swap say UFl and UFr with this algo? The algo swaps UFr and UBr. Well this is where you need just a LITTLE imagination.

You do the following conjugate: l2 B2 l2 - algo - l2 B2 l2. You will find 3 cancelled turns [l' l2 and l2 l2] along the way. This results in the following: l2 B2 l U2 l' U2 F2 l' F2 r U2 r' U2 B2 l2. (optimal AFAIK)

For other swaps the conjugations (setup - algo - undo setup) are easier.
