I just bought my first batch of DIY cubes and after doing a lot of research I ended up buying the trifecta (Type A, Type C and Rubik's DIY) along with the the new Cube4you 3x3x3 DIY Speed Cube (Black). I still need some practice adjusting the tension on each cube, but my favorite one is definitely the Cube4you cube for the simple fact that it has edge caps.

I think edge caps make all the difference in the world and basically eliminate the possibility of the cube getting jammed up during a turn. Honestly I'm kind of surprised that the other three DIY cubes don't come with them.

Does anybody know where I can buy 3 sets of edge caps? What is everyone's opinion on these caps?

I've included a picture of the edge caps (upper right)

As far as I know the only place to get edge caps is from C4Y by buying a C4Y-cube:P ... but I disagree the C4Y-cube DOES stuck up, it doesn't have rounded cubies at all, therefore I like C cubies more

Awesome! I think I love you cheese board

I'm not sure if the caps will fit, but I'm guessing they do and will tell you for sure in a week or so.

The edge caps for c4y cubes dont fit any other cube, if you see the edge structure of the c4y cubes you wil see a tiny "pivot" that hold the cap, in any other cube this caps will go to the bottom of the edges. Dont buy edges caps for other cubes, maybe it is better to try hybrid between the cubes already you have.

i have never seen lock up because of the edge, mostly is the coner that got stuck with the side of the edge, but maybe the edge cap helps
