Eastsheen 5x5 Unscrewing Help

Ever since I loosened the center screw of my Eastsheen 5x5x5 cube to spray silicone in it, it's been randomly loosening itself, making it nearly unsolvable. I'll tighten it, but when I go to solve it, halfway through it will become extremely loose, and I'll have to take off the center caps and retighten the screw to fix it.

What can I do to make this stop happening?

well, the pieces pop out, and it's so loose that it locks up - layers slide when i dont want them to
