Eastsheen 4x4 (Reassembled) Question

I reassembled my Eastsheen 4x4 after a few months yesterday (it popped a while ago, and I finally got around to reassembling it). I have solved it a few times, but it does not seem as smooth as I remember it. Is this my memory playing tricks on me or could there be some dust or something that got into the core and is making it a little choppy?

One way to find out. Take I apart and clean it then re-assemble... again

i heard that if u pop or disassemble it, the cube becomes worse

Thanks for the responses. I think I was able to "work out" anything that might have gotten into the cube because it is smoother now.
