But why do some events have more votes than the chosen ones?

interestingFirst Place, First Gone 2025!
Yep, another Forum competition. This is the second one I've ever organised after Speedsolving New Year 2025 wrapped up a few days ago. This competition has a competitor limit of 30. In order to register, reply with the Events you wish to partake in.
Current Competitor Number: 6/30
Events
There will be three rounds of each Event.
- 3x3
- 2x2
- 3x3 One Handed
- Clock
- Skewb
- 3x3 Blindfolded
A rather random Events list, but there is a twist.
First Place, First...
Hang on.... wait a minute...
Well, at least I'm making this where the people who place closer to last eliminated as well, that way people can't purposefully mess up too bad lolFirst Place, First Gone 2025!

I think for mine there was a rule somewhere along the lines of you're eliminated if your average is equal or more than twice your global.Well, at least I'm making this where the people who place closer to last eliminated as well, that way people can't purposefully mess up too bad lol

If people submit in dms you don't know the results so then you cant force a winim new here.
Is it ok if I join? I'm not too good, so maybe I have a chance.
Also I see a possible flaw in this system, but I'm probably just stoopid. Couldn't I just wait untill everyone submits their times, then do my times last? Therefor, I would make sure, if possible, to continue.
There will be google forms for people to submit their results when the round starts, and I will post a spreadsheet of results after the round is over.im new here.
