Hi guys,
I have recently learnt a lot of ZBLL, and winter variation, but I have realized that when I do my winter variation insert, I skip a possible ZBLL case I know. Is it faster to do the regular insert, then do the ZBLL, or to do the WV, then do PLL?
Thanks.:)

zbll avg move count is 12 + 3 move for insert , wv is 8, pll is 11.8 on average. However when you don't know a zbll is costs you time to do the oll and then relook the pll. With wv that won't happen. So zbll has less moves but you will need to know all sets. Maybe it is wise to learn what a normal insert does to your zbll case? full Zbll is always faster then WV. Otherwise nobody would even bother with learning zbll

If you don't know a lot of ZBLL, WV is probably better. I personally use maybe 5 or 6 WVs, though at one point I knew them all. Most are better to just insert and do the ZBLL.
