I was wondering, what do you guys think? Do you need inborn talent in order to get a world record? Some of the most successful people in speedcubing often have some sort of advantage over regular cubers.

How fast do you think an average human can get? I am pretty sure sub8 average in 3x3 is doable for everyone with enough practice. But things can get a little complicated at world class level.

One example is Max Park diagnosed with autism and another one is Tymon who have insane spacial imagination that allow him to even predict F2L-1 in inspection

I think talent is involved, but at higher levels you defo need a ton of practice. Of course anyone can be sub-8 or at least sub-10 with enough practice and the right practice techniques. But not everyone has a ton of time to practice.

I don't think Feliks has any natural advantage, he just started at a very young age.
