I guess for some underprivileged kids, something is better than nothing
Also the fight against smartphone addiction is a good point to pitch cubing to kids.

I really agree on that, us cubers should probably start giving old Rubik's brands or if we're kind enough then some magnetic cubes to other kids, we can save gen beta lmao (ok that's an exageration)

give them to some local schoolkids or something like speedcubereview does

you can ask on nearby schools or hospitals if they would like to use an old Rubik's Cube in some program or leave it at some internal library.

there is psichiatrical hospital near were I live and they accept donations of all sorts books and puzzles for the patients to use inside the facility

they make activities with papercraft and all sorts of handcraft art
