I don't think eastlund is an actual term. The Westlund method was coined after Simon Westlund, who, I believe, used it to break several records and win lots of comps. You can either turn the mega left or right to solve s2l pairs/blocks. That's the simple philosophy behind it.

Except someone made a vid and use eastlund

Megaminx solvers coined the term "Eastlund" to denote Westlund method where you do y rotations (going east around the megaminx globe). Westward-moving Westlund (y' rotations) is a little bit better for right-handed solvers, but either direction can get you really fast times.
