I'm not sure where to put this, mods feel free to move it wherever it should be. I also know SS =/= WCA, but I just want to create discussion about it, as this isn't a full suggestion yet.

How would you feel about having an extra box in WCA-profiles showing what competitions you have registered to (and have been 'accepted')?

Pros:

1. Easier access to the competition page, no need to scroll through the competition list or something like that (although search and CTRL+F both work, as well as bookmarking)

I'd personally prefer this over bookmarking, as I wouldn't need to remove old bookmarks once the competition is over, instead I could just have my WCA profile as a bookmark and get to the competitions that way.

2, You can see what competitions someone else has registered to, allowing you to follow your friends (or fast people, or anyone really) on cubecomps.

Cons:

1, Not all competitions use the WCA registration, instead they have external registration on some other website

2. Might increase the amount of 'fake' registrations

What's your opinion about this? I'm sure there are pros and cons I've missed

I don't see any cons tbh, apart from that someone has to put a bit of time into coding it.
I may be wrong, but I believe part of the plan with the new WCA accounts is that you will be required to log in to register. Perhaps this will mean that all comps will be required to use the WCA reg system too. Fake registrations should be a thing of the past at that point.

I didn't even think about that at all, it does remove both the cons I listed. Thanks for the input!
