I'm using a 3x3x3 cube that I found somewhere. Watching Youtube videos I solved one side with proper corner colors, and the bottom layer on the other sides isn't fully complete. Blue matches, but there's an orange on the red side, red on the green side, and green on the orange side. The video I watched says if you solve the corners properly the layer should be complete as well.

Is the video wrong or is the cube messed up?

Most likely you misunderstood the video.

Which video? Sounds like you have to cycle 3 edges around.

It's an edge three cycle. If you don't know notation, R means turn right clockwise, R' means turn right counter clockwise, R2 means turn right twice, same for Up, Left, Down, Back, and Front. With that, follow this:

R2 U R U R' U' R' U' R' U R'

EDIT: quick note, do that with Red on the left and green on front

Worst case scenario, just take your cube apart and put back together solved, then never take it apart again.

After I posted I realized I probably screwed up the cross. I just made it without any regard to color, then did the corners with regard to their other 2 side colors.

Did this now red and orange middles are right. Will try it a few more times see if it puts the others in the right place, or I'll just start over.

Hold the green in front of you and blue in the back with white on the bottom.
Do:
L2R2U2L2R2U2
or M2U2M2U2. I'm not sure the 1st one will work but I know the second will.

Take it apart, put together right, rescramble, solve.
