Hi, here is video of Diansheng Slicecube, also known as 3 layer magic cube. The basic construction of cube is same as standard 3x3 Rubik's Cube, though there are
some differences that makes playing with this puzzle fun. Also after scrambling this cube, it takes irregular shape, that makes holding and speedsolving this puzzle very difficult!

I believe this is normally called the Case Cube.

What method are you using? It seems like you are using a lot of extra moves.
