So, I'm desperate. My cube exploded recently, pieces fell off the bus. Long story short, I need 2 guhong edge pieces. If you're in the California area (or even if you're not) and can help, I'd appreciate it. Willing to make a deal. This was my main cube for OH and 2H. I could just buy another one but I wanna see if I can just get 2 edge pieces instead of rushing a brand new guhong for $35 in time for the next comp.

You could try to work something out with lightake, but I don't really think someone would have 2 edge pieces lying around. Maybe a shop owner like Cameron had a deformed cube or something and he has some pieces, but I doubt think it's too likely. anyway, best of luck. Also, why did you buy a guhong for 35$?

If you buy from one particular store a lot, they might front you the pieces. Also look to the guy who made 3x3 Illusion cubes out of GuHongs, he might be willing to help.

Cubefan: He meant rush shipping, which is usually at least $10. So I'm guessing where he buys from + rush shipping is probably $33 or so but he probably rounded to $35.

By $35 he said "rushing". He probably means for the GuHong and shipping that is fast enough to ship it in time for the competition.

I say get hold of lightake. A piece in a DIY I bought was deformed and they are sending me a new one.
I assume this isn't a unique case so they probably have spares they are willing to send for a reasonable price.

I'm nocturnal and never awake when a post office is open.

This is why I alwys have a "Junk-cube" with me when I am on the go and why I never bring my main speedcubes with me.
It's a very bad idea bringing your very best cubes with you because accidents like thse are bound to happen.

I use a mini 52mm 3x3 as my bring-along-junk-cube when I am solving on the go. If I lose an edge a new cube costs around $4 so no great loss there.
Don't bring your main speedcubes with you when you are on the go!
