I haven't done Pyraminx in SO LONG since I got my V-cubes so i wanted to make sure i was still in shape.

2nd avg since first picking it up tonight. first was like 7.62

I got pink, yellow, red, and blue with my pyraminx.
anyway, awesome average. I haven't done pyraminx lately, so I'm really out of shape.

no it has not broken before lol. it popped before but it doesnt anymore

I have the same pyraminx as him, so I can answer this.
At first, the stickers look weird, but after a while, you get used to them, though the similarity between red and pink does get pretty annoying. I thought I had fully adjusted to the shiny stickers, until I replaced it with a Cubesmith set, and saw that I was much faster.
And, yeah, Derrick doesn't have any Cubesmith stickers on him. Or vinyl sheets, for that matter.

Derrick, I hate to say, but at least the first 2 solves are DNFs.... When you spend over 15s for inspection, you get a DNF. I didn't even watch the rest

That's not true anymore:

A4d1) The competitor must start the solve within 15 seconds after the start of the inspection. Penalty: 2 seconds.
A4d2) The competitor must start the solve within 17 seconds after the start of the inspection. Penalty: disqualification of the solve.

It's only been 1 or 2 weeks, but every day since he got his pyraminx up to the day he got his V-Cubes, he pretty much only did pyraminx. He was pretty crazy about it for a while.
