what method do you use for 4bld because I would like to learn 4 bld at some point

I just learned from jperm's tutorial, which uses U2 for centers and r2 for wings. You only have to learn 4 extra algs, 2 for wing and 2 for centers. r2 is very similar to M2 with a couple small differences and twice to amount of pieces. You already know 3style, so you can just use that for corners. After you're comfortable with r2 you can also learn 3style for wings (I don't know 3style, so I'm not sure how difficult it is). 4movers don't work, so you have to learn different commutators for those. The most important thing for starters is probably getting familiar with wing and center tracing.

I just got a oh pb ao5 of 14.23!
I also finally beat my ao1000 which has been at 18.05 since february 2023, it will probably be sub18 with a couple more solves.

I had a comp today and it went very well. For my first official clock round I got an avg of 10.64 and a pb2 single of 9.12! The scrambles weren't even that special, but my turning was very good.
For 2x2 I beat my pr avg twice with a 3.57 and a 3.46.
For OH I also beat my pr avg twice with a 16.57 and a 16.07. I also got a pr single of 12.47 which is over a second faster than my previous pr and actually beat Patrick Ponce on that scramble!

i average sub-25 on oh (CFOP. splits are- 3, 11-12, 4-5, 6). any tips to get sub-20?

I don't actually use CFOP for OH and with it I'm also not sub-20, so I can't really give method-specific tips. A couple reasons that slow a solve down for me are struggling on a awkward turn and pausing to find the next pieces. I guess practicing to do stuff like F moves with more flow would help with LL algs

Last sunday I was at a comp and got a couple prs:
3bld mean of 2:03, not quite sub-2 but I haven't practiced for a while so my memo has slowed down.
3x3 single of 9.73 and avg of 11.70, my first official sub-10 and finally a sub-12 avg! In the second round I also got a second sub-10 of 9.83 which was fullstep unlike the first one.
OH didn't go that well, but right before the round during practice I got insane averages and got a pb ao5 of 13.70 and ao12 of 14.40!
I also got a sub-16 ao50 and my ao1000 is now sub-17

Barely missed 4x4 finals by one spot and pr avg.
I wasn't expecting get a sub16 OH avg after counting a 17, but then got two 13s.
For the second time I got an overall pb with megaminx and also pb single! In the second round I almost beat it again if not for the +2 on solve 2.
I won't have a comp in the next few months, the next one will probably be the 24 hour comp at the end of august.
