why would they do that? becaude it's the regulations. you ****ed up your solve so you gotta pay for it, it isn't thej udge's fault its yours.

I can sort of understand this if it's exactly 45 degrees and they decide to give you a +2. Otherwise it's obviously the solver's fault

If it's exactly 45, it isn't a +2
But the judge might still decide it to be a +2, which is why it could be annoying. I've never actually experienced this though, all of the +2's I've had have been genuinely out by a move

If you see it's exactly 45, but the judge wants to give you a +2, you go ask the delegate. Easy.
