Hello all. Fairly new to speedcubing. Been cubing for a few months and with beginners method I average at a minute thirty and learning intuitive F2L at the moment but I have yet to time myself.

Hello! Welcome to the forums! :)

Considering you're still relatively new, I think it's looking at speedsolving methods other than CFOP to see of they fit your style better (I would recommend at least checking out the other "big four" methods- ie Petrus, ZZ and Roux- although it definately wouldn't hurt to check out some other methods like PCMS or M-CELL).

Anyway, I hope you enjoy your time here on the forums! :)

Welcome to the forum! Like shadowslice, I would recommend trying all of the big four methods, i.e. CFOP, Roux, ZZ, and Petrus. Most people use CFOP (including me) but that doesn't make it the best method. There are people who are fast with Roux, and the other methods have potential if you practice them.

I kinda wish I had learning other methods earlier. After learning ZZ I find nothing as fun as the RUL F2L spam but now feel daunted by all the ground I would have to make up to main it. Still refreshing to do a couple more advanced methods now and then like Heise, Roux and Petrus. Really helped my widen my thinking with different ways to manipulate the cube. So yeah do learn other methods.
