I was just interested in knowing what your favorite cubesmith colors to put on a cube are. I realize most people either use standard or bright, but some people get different colors.

So... What colors do you usually get?

Right now, I'm consider getting a standard scheme, with light green and bright orange? Opinions?

Also.. Stickers > Tiles, or Stickers < Tiles?

if you are getting stickers, then get bright blue/light green as replacements to the standard scheme. SO much better. I say that everyone should at least try tiles, but they do get expensive if you put them on all your cubes.

Oh, I see. I've gotten stickers before, I just wanted people's opinion. I've got an extra bright blue laying around, so all I'd need is 1 or 2 extra sets of standard, light green, and maybe an extra blade.

Edit: I could see why tiles would be so pricey to put on all my cubes. I only have one set on my back-up cube (AKA Storebought), and I also have an extra set for repairs or another cube.

I like stickers more than tiles for 3 reasons.
1) They come in more colors. I like the bright replacement sets myself.
2) Cheaper. But tiles to last longer however...
3) once tiles are just slightly peeled, they can get caught under your fingernails and that is a pain that everyone should experience so they can say "I never ever want that to happen again because tiles hurt me."

+1, I've had this..

so all of you are saying stickers are more durable and are better than tiles? I don't know i never tried any of them. Stickers that come with the cube just peel off so fast, so isn't that the same?

Cubesmith stickers dont peel, they chip. As long as you keep your fingernails cut you should be ok.

To be honest, I was slightly disappointed when I got my light green stickers. They weren't as good looking as I had imagined on my white eastsheen 5x5x5. However, I don't get confused between blue and green, so they are good for recognition. I haven't tried bright orange because I'm afraid they'd be too similar to yellow. XP

For my black cubes I go with the cubesmith bright replacement set. It's very good for recognition after you get used to the flourescent colors, which on my cubes last longer than the other three colors (red, white, blue).

I'm going to get some skidproof stickers with a c4y order to try them as well.

I try to get tiles on all of my puzzles. I like to carry a bunch a cubes together in a small back pack & the rubbing between the puzzles causes the stickers to peal. With tiles, I never have to worry about it.

I COMPLETELY AGREE! I HAD A TILE BREAK OFF (CUSTOM V7 TILES) AND GO RIGHT UNDER MY NAIL! it was really painful -> no more tiles
