umm, caleb. you are 13 years old. square and chbe roots are learnt in 6th grade. and its compulsory.
bro lock in youre being homeschooled you dont have to got at the same pace as others, so go faster, not slower. how about i tutor you in math and you tutor me in cubing?
ok sure
also in 6th grade books they don’t even have square/cube roots as a lesson (only squares and cubes though)
you know what i’m gonna do math right now
brb

I just started 7th grade like one or two months ago (yeah uhh don’t question that) and currently i’m learning about square roots and cube roots (pretty easy so far), and before that i was learning about sets and set notation.
That's a good pace. When I was in 7th I was seeing variables for the first time, so you're relatively ahead of me, at least. I was homeschooled as well, up through middle school. That definitely allows you to skip a lot of stuff if it just "clicks", which seems to be the case!

My progression was basic algebra -> basic geometry -> calculus. With calculus I went through online material and a textbook slowly, took a little over two years. (I had skipped algebra 2, trigonometry [beyond the basic definitions from geometry], and "pre-calculus", so I had to fill in some gaps.) I started high school not needing to take any of their math; I got to study calculus then multi-variable calculus on my own!

I’m currently in my sophomore year of high school (10th grade), and I’m learning Calc AB. I got a 95 on my midterm which I’m really happy about, and we’re just starting on integration, antiderivatives and indefinite integrals. Aside from school-level math, I’m also participating in a math league that has competitions throughout the year, and I’m happy to report that out of the ~15 people in our school who participated, I was the top scorer! Our school is also going to the state competition on March 31st, so I will keep you guys updated on how that goes!

I’m in precal but I’ve already been learning calculus. I’ve also created an entire study schedule for me to self study basic theoretical physics by the time I graduate high school (for fun, I’m not even planning on majoring in physics or math). So if I ever disappear, you can blame the math. I’m also creating math videos for my friends. But yeah, I’m a math and physics enthusiast.
Also, I’ve done math team before in middle school, and I have some trophies:
