I know a little bit of the basics of trigonometry, but I forgot it, can anyone quiz me the basics to see if I know anything?

I like doing Khan Academy, because it is fun, and I can still learn something, I do 6th and 7th grade math.

Math is awesome!
A zip wire runs between two posts,25m apart. The zip wire is at an angle of 10∘10∘ to the horizontal. Calculate the length of the zip wire.

(Before approaching this problem, you will need to know the basic trigonometric functions. A good mnemonic to help is SOHCAHTOA [Sine=Opposite/Hypotenuse,Cosine=Adjacent/Hypotenuse,Tangent=Opposite/Adjacent])cos(10°) = 25/x, where x is the length of the zip wire. We can rearrange the equation to get x as the lone term on one side: x = 25/cos(10°). Calculating the value of cos(10°) gives us an approximate answer: x = 25/0.985, or x = 25.38.

That mnemonic is anything but good.

I do Kumon (if any of you know what that is, its basically for people who are good at math or ela to stretch their abilities, or people who need tutoring/help in math/ela), and im 25th in North America for math! (in kumon) im also in my school math team, and in MathCounts Brooklyn Chapter 2024 I got third for individual. (I beat most of the eighth graders :) ) im currently doing trigonometric functions for fun!

I am in 8th grade, and I have done MathCounts in all 3 years of middle school. Last year, at the 2023 Connecticut Northwestern Chapter competition, I placed third in the individual competition, won the Countdown Round, and my team won, so we went on to the CT State competition (where we were brutally demolished lol)

do re mi fa SOH la ti do
CAH is almost ca, or circa
TOA Means hero in Maori and toilet in Swedish

These are the best associations I can find, for remembering them.
The more stupid, the better.

I just remember the pronunciation “so cuh toe-uh” and it helps me remember it super easily. I’ve found it invaluable in math

My mom taught me something like that a guy was wandering in the forest and hurt his foot. He walked toward an Native American village and asked for advice on what to do, and they told him, "Soak A Toe-uh"
