Cube4You D.I.Y 3x3x3 or Maru 4x4x4?

I want a new 3x3x3 from Cube4You (D.I.Y)
I don't know what type it is, but I want it cause the cube I have now is really bad. BUT I'm getting 2+ cubes from overseas from a relative.
I have no idea what type it could be. It could be good, it could be bad.
I could use 1 cube and experiment with it by sanding it down, lubing it, etc.

OR instead of getting a guaranteed good cube, I could get a Maru 4x4x4 for a new experience.

So readers?

Get the Maru. They're so great! I cut off 30 seconds when i got mine, lol.

Edit: (Also, the C4Y DIY's are like Type A-i's, but they lock up because the pieces were casted so squared. Either get gas-assisted or a cap-cube if you really want to)

I'd switch it up and get a Maru 4x4.
In my opinion, any 3x3 can be a good 3x3, but its hard to find a good 4x4...not really, but you know what I mean!

If you are already getting a few 3x3s, wait until they arrive before ordering a new one. Get the Maru 4x4. You would probably end up switching 3x3s a lot, but you will stick with the Maru.

Also, instead of ordering from Cube4You, I would recommend buying from Lightake. Free shipping, cheap cubes.

dude, if you can avoid the c4y diy do it cause they are pretty bad compared to some others. If you're gonna get another 3x3 go with AV or F2.
