Hi guys,

I was teaching a friend some algorithms tonight and realized something really cool. The "Air Jeff" algorithm is exactly the same forwards and backwards:

R U2 R2 U' R2 U' R2 U2 R

So it's like a cube palindrome! Anybody got any more?

I'm sure that someone can find them, but I'm not sure if you would call them "algorithms" Off the top of my head, I don't think I know of any algorithms that are palindromes... O well, good catch.

Of course, there's the obvious one, H-perm:
M2 U M2 U2 M2 U M2
or
M2 U' M2 U2 M2 U' M2

From speedcubing.com, there's E-perm (rewritten slightly):
y x' R U' R' D R U R' u2 R' U R D R' U' R x' y

Also, the corners first algs:
R2 U2 R' U2 R2 or R2 U2 R U2 R2 (similar to an alg already mentioned)

and
L E L E L E L

One could also talk about palindromes at the character level such as the F2L alg:
F'U'F
(where I've deliberately not used spaces for emphasizing palindrome characteristic)

2x2 algo to swap 2 diagonal pieces on both top and bottom layers each.

R2 F2 R2
