i am relatively new to cubing. i started around 3 months back and i avg around 35 secs. i use the rubiks brand cube and now i am considering to change my cube. can anyone please suggest which cube to get?
also which cube is better for speedcubing, the dayan guhong or POM dayan guhong?

C4Y's are crap. Get an A-V if you don't go with the GuHong. It's still a very good cube and beginners can handle it. Goon from a rubiks brand to a GuHong would be rough since the jump from my A-V to GuHong was something that took getting used to.

Depends... What times are you averaging because Guhongs tend to be a bit fast for beginners. If you are not a beginner (I'm thinking sub 25 I think?) then go for it! But if not I definitely recommend a C4Y Tile cube.

I was at 58 seconds average when I got my first Guhong. First average I did with it was 48.

There's absolutely no point in wasting another 10 dollars for a temporary cube.

Again I have to second Magix. It doesn't matter what time you have, a good cube is a good cube.
From what I've heard there isn't much difference between the regular and POM guhong, either will be fine.

dude just get the cube that you think is the best. whether that be a guhong, an Alpha V or something else. there is no need to get a "medium cube" especially when your getting times like you do already.
