I guess it's somewhat relevant, so I'll say it here...about a year ago, I was watching a live BlogTV show being done by Thrawst and Monkeydude1313. They did a challenge where they solved the cube using only PLLs.

You can get the normal J perms combining Antisune (R U2 R' U' R U' R') and Niklas (R U' L' U R' U' L) and mirroring them etc.

= R U2 R' U' R U2 L' U R' U' L

Antisune+niklas can be really fast. I've been using that Jb perm for about half a year, and I can do it faster than the "normal" alg for it.
