Cubedesk seems a lot more decorated than cstimer, which I like. PLus, there's a head to head battle! But for some reason, the scrambles are all 3x3! Is anyone else having this problem?

In general solving or head to head ?
I think head to 2 head is 3x3 only.

If your problem is in general solving, then in one of the corners (depends on your settings) it should say 3x3.

MAKE A NEW SESSION TITLED WHATEVER EVENT YOUR DOING (if its your first time doing that event) OR ELSE YOU WILL BE STUCK WITH CUBEDESK... i know from experience...

Then press the tab saying "3x3", then it should show a drop bar with other events on.

Select your event of choosing, then the scrambles should change to that events scrambles.

Apparently, CubeDesk has easier scrambles, so unless you solely want a better looking timer I would reccomend using CStimer or Nexus Timer.

I personally think Nexus is the best, as I don't really want to use the extra things CStimer has.

I use cubedesk for progress tracking.

Cstimer doesn't have a online account feature so easy to setup as cubedesk
If I want to just time my solves casually I'll use qqtimer and not cstimer.

Is there a way to make a profile on cstimer?
go on "export" (second icon, next to the gear icon)

there are some accounts stuff but is a little buggy and unrealiable. I know of people that have lost 10k solve history because of this feature

I used to use CSTimer, but I use Nexus now. But CSTimer is really nice with all of the scrambling features for different puzzles and setups. I just don’t like the ui that much. I never really used Cubedesk, so I looked at the demo and it seems quite nice, and from first glance it appears better than CSTimer. Only problem was that it started out in dark mode… though that’s not a problem for 99% of people (I can only do light mode). I might test it CubeDesk out more thoroughly because it looks very clean and organized, and seems to have nice features.
