Guys I decided to look into 4x4 methods. I’ve been using a very basic version of yau with weird edge pairing techniques I learned months ago before I had a 4x4. So I decided toto look into hoya. And it looked really nice, and seemed to take away the problems I had with yau (I hate yau centers). So I tried an example solve, and I got a 2:25.65 (for reference my old pb was like a 2:53 or something). And since that was only my first solve, I expect hoya to be much better for me. So I’m making it official- I’m maining hoya!!

The 223s were found using Cstimer’s solver function: 2x2x2->2x2x3
The average movecount of these solves is 49.4. In the example solve thread, I also had 40 and 48 move solutions, which means that the average movecount of all Aurora III example solves is 47.857. This is great news for Aurora III, which as of now is proving to have sub50 movecount potential! I’ll keep posting example solves here and in the example solve thread. I might also start maining it if Aurora III holds up well in the community and proves to be a viable speedsolving method.
