I find the centres quite interesting in that it doesn't seems to have the usual screws, which might eliminate crooked screws and stripped cores, which is a nice idea. Pieces look weird, but I don't think we can really judge how good it is at this stage until we see a demo vid. I agree that it's probably the next Alpha cube.

He wants to creat a new series. it seems his idea is some spare part of cubes in this series can be interchangeable, when Chun II comes out, you can make a Chun I&II hybrid.
