Here we post our main computer(s)'s specs, a short history of our computer, and other info.

(For a quick way to get your computer specs head to SystemRequirementsLab, run the test for any game, and post the lines that say "You Have:". Sometimes you need to go back and run it again after you give Java permission. This aren't the most detailed specs, but this is fast and easy.)

Post your specs using the method mentioned in my first post, and I'll suggest a GPU for you. Also, which game is this and what is your budget?

I currently have no issues with slow performance or possible malware (cause I'm on a Mac. Hah. In your face Windows! Although, as I have found while tinkering w/ various programming languages, it's very, very easy to write Mac viruses)

- Skills -
I've dabbled in too many programming languages to count, but only am proficient in one or two. (PHP and Objective-C/C (ish))

If its so easy to write viruses for Mac's then why do people always say that Mac's never get viruses?
Is it just that there is less mac users? I would think there was some crazed Apple hating person that would make a bunch of viruses solely to spite all the people who say there are none.
Personally I'm on Windows 7 and I haven't used anti-Virus in a long time. Just don't click or download stupid stuff.

Until Windows Vista (and now Windows 7), Windows had very bad file protection and execution permissions compared to OSX.

I'd say it's about as hard to write a virus for Windows as it is for OSX these days. The biggest security holes are found in environments such as Java, Flash, and Adobe products, where the user doesn't always consider that live code is being run.
