Competition in Las Vegas

[Ron]

Hi guys,

I am looking at organizing a competition in Las Vegas on June 15.
Any cubers in that area? Who would be coming?

Thanks,

Ron

[pjk]

I would be interested. Not positive that I could go, but most likely.

[Lucas Garron]

Sounds fun.
Unfortunately, I think I'm graduating high school right about then, so I'm not planning on making it.

[FrankMorris]

I could probably make it Ron. I would certainly try.

I am on vacation in that area on that date. We are flying to Las Vegas on the 10th of June and leaving Las Vegas to go to Utah maybe two days later. So, I don't think I can come unless I bug my parents to change our vacation schedule which I don't think will happen. Could it be on like the 12 or something??!! (Oh wait that's not a weekend so that would be hard.) What events will there be?

[mizzle]

I have to go and check the schedule, but I'd imagine myself, my roommate, and a friend or two would all make it to compete.

What kind of venue would you be looking at?

Come on, Palms!

LA's only a couple of hours away by car. I wouldn't mind going up with some people.

June 15 is the weekend after commencement at Caltech. I obviously can't speak for everyone at Caltech, but I'm thinking at least some people would appreciate a weekend trip to Vegas after finals.

That so depressing I would totally go except I graduate on June 15th. I would be there any other date but that one.

If I could convince my parents, I would be able to go.

i would probably go, and depending on if you could pry me out of binion's, i might even compete

PJK,

Yesterday I finally got my business trip booked.
So now I working on getting this competition going. I hope it will work out.
It is a busy time with German Open 2008 coming up this weekend and preparations for Euro 2008.

Have fun,

Ron

Aww, I'll still be in school. I'm planning on going to Las Vegas over the summer sometime. If it was a little later in the summer i could go.
