another clock main. helpImagine living in a country where you actually have a chance of getting NR
Triangles don't have cornersDNF cus corners
man, the NR here is like 0.96 single and 1.47 averageI personally twist the corners at the beginning, but you can do them throughout the solve. Some people leave 1 corner for the end. As with every event, recognition will come gradually, and you'll also get used to the puzzle. You might want to try learning intuitive L4E now so that way you don't have to transition- the method isn't much harder. But if you're looking for NR LBL should be enough- the record average is 6.20. (I average 7 with LBL so my advice might not be perfect)
M2 Parity is a thing. You do parity when you memorized an odd number of edge letters.Just the basic one where you turn letter pairs into words, nothing special. If I know all the concepts, probably not. I haven't actually encountered Parity, if that's a thing with M2 idk

My main issue with Pyraminx is not even the algs, it's fingertricks. I've watched some videos but I'm still trying to get a hold of it. I think I average sub-15 already tho (Just a quick ao5 I didGenerated By csTimer+ on 2024-03-19

Parity isn’t that bad. I’d recommend that if you get parity during memo, you switch the A/Q and D/E edge memo so that when you solve edges, you won’t have to do an algorithm. So for example, if you memo 7 letters for corners and you get to WB or WO orange, you memo it to the other piece. Jperm has a video for faster M2.M2 Parity is a thing. You do parity when you memorized an odd number of edge letters.
Edges are harder than corners, in my experience, so get ready! A great tip if you didn’t know is to “chunk” letter pairs together for edge memo (using Audio). For example, if you memorize AG LI, instead of memorizing those two chunks as separate, group the, together and you get “AGLI”. It’s so much easier to memorize and execute this way.Just a little corners-only BLDao5 I did. Can't do Edges yet cus I still haven't fully learnt M2 setups yet. Safe to say I'm chilling with corners, time to learn Edges.

Most of them were lucky with some corners already solved, but that can happen too so GGs.
Edit: I know BLD works in Mo3 but I wanted to show the DNFs as well.
Yeah, I use a lot of audio memo and I don't actually use pairs at all. It's too restricting for audio.Edges are harder than corners, in my experience, so get ready! Yeah, I already registered for Stevenage June and it has 2x2 so I'll start focusing on that once I'm done with this one.Do you do much 2x2? I know the comp doesn't have it but the NRs don't look too bad and based on what you average for other events it is likely one of your best shots at NR. Unless that's not your primary goal of course.
@Timona had a comp in late April I believeThe competition takes place on June 8-9.
Hopefully he's been practicing since he posted!
Whoops. Should've read better, my bad.@Timona had a comp in late April I believe
