Cold hands; what do you do about it?

When I have cold hands I do very well, when I have warm hands I do better but when I have sweating hands I suck. Therefore I can't give you any help.

Bump.

I've been thinking alot recently about the little things that affect my times: lighting (which actually isn't so little), hand temperature, time of day, caffeine intake, etc. But I do wonder, if warming up one's cold hands to regular temp increases solve speed, what about warming them up even more than that; has anyone tried this? Does it help times even more? If so, it could be something useful to do right before competing or going for PBs

Good bump. As someone who has Raynaud's syndrome, (TLDR it just means I have poor blood circulation to hands/other extremeties) I'm actually affected a ton by this.

In answer to whether warming them up more is helpful, I would think yes, but only to a certain extent. As hot as you can get your hands without them sweating is the optimal temperature, which for a lot of cubers isn't very hot at all.

Soak them in hot water for about 30 seconds. Probably half of the competitions I've been to haven't had hot running water though :/
