Dearest and most respectable members of speedsolving.com,

I have some brilliant ideas which I must expose to the masses. This is in off-topic, but it technically pertains to a WCA event (guess which one).

1. A clock is a disk, and theoretically could be used as such in sport.

2. Official Regulations should state that clocks must be solved to the time of day (to the nearest hour).

3. A standard clock is a 1x3x3 puzzle.

4. If GAN manufactured a clock, it would cost $600 and be overwhelmingly mid.

5. I have 5 clocks.

Thank you for listening. More life-changing advice to come throughout the following days, weeks, months, and years.

What about the fact that an actual clock is just a 1x1 in the twisty puzzle sense?
If I see one more post regarding the 1x1 Rubik's Cube with my own two eyes on this thread, I reserve the right to personally send a ghoul to your house who will steal at least three of your cubes. 3️⃣🧊

Clock is not a 1x1. In fact, it's greater in both ethereal power and raw potential than any "puzzle". Anyone who thinks otherwise is lying.

1. It's okay to leave the screws in your clock. The tape mod is simply an alternative if that is your preference.

2. Putting DNM in a clock is like filling your car with orange juice. It's not sustainable.

3. I have a wacky creation involving a clock that I will create soon.

4. Don't be discouraged by frequent DNFs. Clock is an extremely DNF-heavy event.

5. A "smart cube" clock would be a digital clock.

Thank you for your time.

1. If you turn the clocks counterclockwise, your times are automatically lowered.

2. Do not eat the magnets of your clock.

3. The pins have huge magnets in them which can be removed, but this makes the clock extraordinarily non-functional.

4. Don't buy the Shengshou clock if you plan to get into clock whatsoever. Save money by just buying the QiYi rather than purchasing the Shengshou and planning to buy the QiYi, if you can.

5. Clocks are ideally fed and watered at least 12 times per day.

Thank you for your time, and please have a lovely Wednesday.

Good morning, good evening, and goodnight my puzzling acquaintances.

1. Erno Rubik did not invent the Rubik's Clock.

2. The Federated States of Micronesia currently do not have any official clock singles nor averages.

3. The mitochondria of eukaryotic cells originate from endosymbiotic relationships involving alpha-proteobacteria. Additionally, the chloroplasts found within plant cells (also eukaryotic) originate from endosymbiotic relationships involving cyanobacteria.

4. I solved a clock in 3.85 seconds yesterday.

5. If you own three or more clocks, you're too far gone.

Thank you for your time, and have a lovely day free of misfortune.

Good afternoon everyone. I hope you're all having lovely days and engaging in wonderful, productive activities.

I'm very tired and have little information to provide on this fine Friday.

1. Clock spelled backwards is or is not kcloc

2. What do you call a a xylophone that tells time?

You: "What?"

A Clockenspiel

Thank you for your time. I know, I'm very funny--no need to remind me.

Due to a lack of interest from the speedsolving community in acquiring boundless swaths of applicable knowledge, this thread will be semi-abandoned and very situationally updated. Have a lovely night, and hopefully a lovely morning and afternoon as well.
I really liked it but ok

Good mid-morning to all.

I have a fun announcement to proclaim.

You: "Oh wow, what is it which you are proclaiming?"

After deep consideration, I have decided to continue updating this timeless thread.

You: "Omg wow; I'm ecstatic."

1. If you drop a clock from a three-story building, it will likely break.

2. People with sub-4 singles on the original Rubik's brand clock deserve a gold medal. This was the best clock for a very long time.

3. Whoever designed the QiYi clock deserves a Nobel Prize.

4. Ensure that cubing is a mindful activity for you. Otherwise, you will become burnt out and not enjoy it as much.

5. Today I'm amplifying DNA extracted from my samples. Wish me luck.

6. (Oh boy, a sixth one?? What a treat.) You cannot under any circumstances have both black and white clocks (if you're using a QiYi, that is) on one side of a clock. They must all be the same color to be WCA legal.

I hope that this edition of my (no longer) internal thoughts were remarkably insightful. Have a lovely morning, afternoon, and evening on this dazzling 17th day of July.

Good morning my clock-loving comrades. Here is your daily educational experience.

1. A clock is not a cube. However, it is in fact, a pizza-shape.

2. Humans all have a unique and individualized microbiome. Its composition is variable across populations due to factors such as diet and environment.

3. The pyraminx is triangle-cube.

4. I am very tired.

5. What is a clock's favorite thing to do in math?

You: "What?"

Multiplication (because times)!

Have a wonderful day everyone, and please remember to do at least 4 billion clock solves. Thank you.

I like this snippets.

Keep them coming yo!

Good morning (1:39 AM as I construct this document) from Eastern Standard Time.

1. You don’t need to feel ashamed for using extremely specific times during your day. For example:

12:37 PM,
11:11 AM,
1:14 AM, and
6:02 PM,

are excellent times to perform tasks.

Good morning: Part II

I write to you all at 9:02 AM Eastern Standard Time, the exact time which I was born. What a coincidence.

2. Putting all of your focus into one event creates a ton of pressure. At least practicing and caring about a few events will keep you more focused and interested in cubing as a mindful activity for longer.

3. The only GAN puzzle unmatched in its quality and performance (compared to others on the market) is the Enhanced Skewb.

4. If you combine the number of popped pieces on an MGC 5x5 which exit the puzzle on any given day, you could assemble a completely new 5x5.

5. ChatGPT struggles extremely hard to give cubing tutorials. For example, asking it how to solve 7x7 centers yields terrible results. I believe it cannot solve a Skewb either last time I checked.

6. (Wow, more than 5? Thanks @Clock_Enthusiast) Clock is present at so many PBQ comps even though it's arguably the loudest event, depending on one's setup.

7. Please clean your clocks. At every comp I scramble at has several clocks which appear to have a literal biofilm inside of them. Your clock will feel better and also not be a biohazard to your peers.

Have a glorious Friday day. Here's a question or two for you all:

Question #1: If you were a bacterium, which species would you be?

Question #2: What's the worst nxn WCA event? You're not allowed to say 7x7.

5/5 6/6 7/7 are all to bog and are useless

I dunno if I'd consider big cubes useless. I think it's reasonable to have some longer events, and many people love solving them (which is all that matters). I specialize in mostly fast events, but longer events are far less stressful because one simple mistake doesn't always ruin your time.

I do think you should try learning when you can! They are truly quite fun.

Good evening, my fellow Rubrickers,

I humbly approach you on this Saturday night to provide you with a real mind-boggler; a brain-teasing, mind-bending quiz of sorts.

Question 1.

Two truths and one lie:

I solved a Megaminx before ever solving a 3x3.

I couldn’t solve 3x3 at my first competition.

You main 5BLD (You don’t count, @abunickabhi)

Question 2.

Present the name of the nation who’s flag is described below. You may not use outside sources, or I will steal three of your cubes.

Red atop green, with a yellow star located at its center

It is not 🇨🇿

Question 3.

How do you think you will perform on this exam? Write answer in the form of a number between 1 and 10 rounded to the nearest one decimal.

Question 4.

How long can you stare at an analog clock for? If you do not have access to one, stare at a coin of greater value than 7 US cents. Write answer in the form of a number between 1 and 10, rounded to one decimal.

Question 5.

What number am I thinking of? Write answer in the form of a number between 1 and 10, rounded to the one decimal.

You will receive ONE (1) additional point if you write your answers on a piece of blue or purple paper. Whoever has the highest score wins a prize which I have yet to decide upon.
