Recently ive decided to change the springs on my Aolong from the stock ones to the Soft-Hearted replacement springs for the CX-3. I dont know what made me do this but im not going back to stock. The cube now allows me to use a much lighter turning style even with extremely tight tensions. Has anyone else tried doing this??

are the cx3 springs softer than the moyu? what about dayan springs?

I've personally done Fangshi springs in a Zhanchi and 42mm LingLong springs in a Sulong, both softer springs than original, and they're both great.

I would say probably a lot of cubes these days have really sub-optimal spring setups. Not surprised about the Aolong, all the Moyu/YJ cubes I've seen have the same springs, which I find to be on the stiff side.

I've heard changing the springs for the ones under the ball bearings of the Shengshou Skewb will speed up the cube heaps. I have a Shengshou Skewb order coming soon. I will see how it goes. Also Dayans don't seem to fit for me.
