So recently I tried replacing my mini aosu springs with weisu soft springs and it locked up like crazy. I then tried putting the original springs back in. The inner layers still lock up like CRAZY. What may have I done wrong? Please help!!!

I suggest you try making the tensions even on all sides. If they are already then I dont know is wrong with your cube - you could just lube it and that might solve some problems.

Maybe you left one weisu spring on one side or something, so the cube feels off. Dunno.

thanks for the advice, do u know if a crooked screw could cause something like this?

I think you might have fiddled with the pieces surrounding the centres that prevent the inner layers from misaligning. All of those pieces should be pointing towards the same corner.

I think they only go in one way anyway, so you cant put them in wrong.

I thought of that. It could affect the cube, then again it may not depending on the extent of the crookedness.

I think I know exactly what this is. I did the same thing. Look at the center cylinder thing. It will have a bump on it. That bump should be 45° so it flows under the inner pieces. If is it on he same line as the middle line the center pieces will get stuck going over it.

The Picture is of a YuSu but it has the same mechanism (Just looks slightly different). You can see how this is at a 45° angle and not directly on the center line.
