Can you pop off 4x4 caps?

I recently got my YJ Zhilong 4x4 and it worked perfectly until two weeks ago. Whenever I moved certain face there was a weird scratching noise. I dissasembled it to find that the magnet had fallen of and would make a scratching noise when i turn a face. I was wondering if I could take of a cap in order to glue it back together. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Yes, just pull apart the two colors of the appropriate edge and see where the magnet goes. Then glue the magnet back in.
