Can anyone give me the notation for the essential algorithms in Petrus.

They're called Niklas, Sune and Allen if I'm not mistaken.
As explained from this page and on:
http://lar5.com/cube/fas5.html
For some reason the animations aren't working for me. And I'd really appreciate it.
I'm used to the F B R L D U notation and an ' and 2 for counter clockwise and twice respectively.
Thanks a million in advance, Also if it's somewhere else and I missed it I'm sorry for asking...

Thanks, I hadn't expected a reply so fast :D
I'll write them down and start memorizing them in the train tomorrow.

Instead of Allan why not just give normal U Perm?
R2 U (R U R' U') R' U' R' U R'
It's the same, but on a different angle. And it's much faster.

I know, I was going to, but he asked for Allan specifically that was the java animation that was on Lars's website. So I gave him Allan, and not the 2-gen U-Perm.

I suppose.
But considering they have the same effect, and the Java applets weren't working for him, I don't think it will hurt to have a better algorithm.

I just realized that that's the same U Perm Jessica Fridrich uses as well.

Allan isn't that slow; fairly easily sub-2 at least. It's also shorter and easy to understand, which might matter to some people.

The algs are also visible in the page source, btw:

Code:
<param name=move value="L1U3R3U1L3U3R1U2">
<param name=move value="F1U2F3B3U1F1U3B1UZF3">
<param name=move value="L1R3U3R1U1L3U3R3U1R1">
<param name=move value="R3U3R1U1L1U3R3U1R1L3">

I didn't say Allan was bad, just that the U-Perm is faster.
It's shorter by two turns, and if you think of it in motions, U-Perm has the same number as Allan. You have a point with easy to understand though.

I would guess he's a beginner, and as such would prefer an algorithm that's easier to understand and remember than one that's faster. No harm in that. I ended up relearning most of my PLLs as well, replacing them with faster or more execution friendly algorithms.

Yeah, at least for me the Niklas, Allan, Sune were pretty easy to learn out of the box (not being able to solve the cube using any speedsolving method before). Allan is probably easier because he can follow the website all of the way through. Just my $0.02
