It’s just when there’s 3 attempts at MBLD in a single round. It’s silly, since it’s not exactly fair to people without access to MBLD comps with 3 rounds, and how one calculates one is unknown

Here's my post from 2023-09-06 with explanation and a list of cubers at that time with no mbld-mean and whether the could have one:

When I started the list, 4bld-mean and 5bld-mean were only separately listed and not in the personal "scoresheet" - and I wasn't aware that comps with Bo3 in mbld are so rare (especially in USA - but how should I think about that much with Mark already having the mbld-mean-of-3?)

I don't want to change the list now and since I don't use a database query for it I won't continue with it too long.

But indeed, the list of cubers with "only missing the mbld-mean-of-3" has a lot of really good names. I hope they are all listed below. A <name> is a cuber who wasn't at a comp with Bo3 in mbld yet (and therefore had no chance to get it), the others DNSed or DNFed at least one attempt in a Bo3.

Hmmm, when I think about it now: I could "allow" an unofficial 8bld-single instead of the official mbld-Mo3 for cubers who haven't been to a comp with Bo3 yet. One cuber would be added

Yes, it is still unfair - but everyone should feel free to create another list (and maybe with data query )

And this list doesn't need a ranking for mbld-means. But if I had to do, I would take the Mo3 of the normal value for the ranking in the WCA. At least in 2017 it was calculated like that:
990000000 - 10000000*(cubes done - cubes unsolved) + 100*(time in seconds) + (cubes unsolved)
Example: 6/8 cubes done in 20:13 = 950121302
And then I use for my ranking: (value1+value2+value3)/3. Transforming this back to one attempt would create interesting results, but for a ranking it should work.
Ok, you could just use the calculation above after adding the cubes done, cubes unsolved and times of all attempts. It should give you the same ranking.

I wanted to try 2-5 BLD relay but my 5x5 was broken. Then when I fixed my 5x5 my 4x4 broke.

Finally finished reconstructing my recent 10BLD WB

I did it using alg.cubing.net but the link is too long to actually be used to access the full reconstruction so really it was just a tool to allow myself to make sure I reconstructed everything correctly.

I also made sure to reconstruct more or less exactly like I actually executed everything i.e. writing 4Rw 3Rw' instead of lazily writing a 4R slice when I definitely was executing slices with 2 moves in reality. This massively boosts the movecount but is more true to the actual solve.

Finally finished reconstructing my recent 10BLD WB

I did it using alg.cubing.net but the link is too long to actually be used to access the full reconstruction so really it was just a tool to allow myself to make sure I reconstructed everything correctly.

I also made sure to reconstruct more or less exactly like I actually executed everything i.e. writing 4Rw 3Rw' instead of lazily writing a 4R slice when I definitely was executing slices with 2 moves in reality. This massively boosts the movecount but is more true to the actual solve.
