I read the can and it says it's silicon based, but I'm still unsure whether to use it on my only cube at the moment. Would you recommend it, or will it destroy my cube?

i dont know how is this spray, but you're the first guy that mentions it. So i think is more safe to stay with the "proved traditional" silicon sprays like CRC, Jig-A-Loo or another that focuses in multi-pourpose lubrication (the idea is the lubricant dont eat plastic and i think a door lubricant is focused in metal-wood)

Hope this helps

Just lubricated it. This if my first cube so I don't know if I need to let it dry, for how long, and how long to work it in before it works well. It already seems slightly better.
