BFOPv1 - Jay's Scramble Dependent Method (first version)

If you're "method neutral" between CFOP and Roux, but CFOP is your main and you use it 75% of the time, over the course of an infinite number of solves, you're absolutely going to become more and more imbalanced with your CFOP skills relative to your Roux skills.

I totally agree with this point. I have been method neutral with CFOP and Roux for 3x3 2H for a while, and can observe the imbalance.
There is just too much scramble solution potential that both CFOP and Roux generates and 15 seconds of inspection is not enough to inspect CFOP xcross and good Roux blocks and also form a decision and go with one of them.

If we have a one color cross CFOP solving and 2 or 1 Roux FB solving, then we have a chance of managing the 15 seconds of inspection and be MethNeu with both CFOP and Roux.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this just FreeFOP combined with pseudoslotting, so FreeFOP?
It's definitely a subset of FreeFOP with a very specific first few steps in mind (In this case Mehta FB)

I think that in the future these methods and ideas will come down to either a cross based start (CFOP could also be considered a subset of FreeFOP since it has a Cross start), a Petrus 2x2x2 start, a Roux 1x2x3 start or a Mehta 1x2x3 start

There's also probably a better way to name these like PFOP (Petrus based F2L>OLL>PLL), RFOP (Roux) etc etc
