What are the best comps to go to yearly? Here I've only been to a couple in NY. There's one upcoming in Atlantic City, New Jersey which seems like it will be really professional and a great experience. Tri-State Championships. That's about as far as I'll travel for a comp, I think. My question is what are the best, which ones have you been to and what are the major ones?

Well, in my community we are in a weird situation where it's pretty much only us and a few people from the community in the state north of ours coming to competitions in our state. We don't really have reoccurring competitions aside from stuff like "Spring Open 20xx" or "PBQ Winter 20xx". I do have plans on making an annual competition though for charity (the first one got cancelled, it was also my first competition I ever organized too so that sucked real bad :(). In the Tri-State Area, the Princeton comps look like a lot of fun from the videos I have seen from cubers like @DGCubes. Regional Championships are also a fantastic option since they are essentially Nationals but in a smaller area, so its easier to podium and stuff (at the rate I am going I could get a regional podium in square-1).

I have to say the vlog by DG at Princeton is inspiring! Thanks for sharing. And good luck with comps in your state!
