The Cereal Unaliver method:
put bombs under a shed and make them activate if you press a button
carry the button at all times(in the shed)
:Lure someone to the dark Shed.
Ask them if they can solve a rubiks cube.
if they don't do it in 5 minutes, unalive them.
don't leave ANY evidence.
Repeat untill you either get caught or your rubiks cube is solved.
if the police find you, press the button to seemingly unalive yourself
make a secret exit to avoid the bombs.
continue your unaliving spree

In 1980 I devised my own method in order to solve the cube for the first time. Many decades later I made a video explaining how I did that. The video obviously features the method but is more focussed on how I devised it.

Make one side which I call the top. This is always red.
Orientate the 4 corners on the bottom layer.
Position those 4 corners.
Put in one pair of opposite edges in between two of those corners on the bottom layer.
Put in the second pair of edges on the bottom layer completing 2 opposite sides (red and orange).
Put last 4 edges in middle layer into position.
Orientate those edges as required.
