It's Jrahmah, betting every single one of you mispronounced my name (it's pronounced "drama"). Don't ask how I got the name. And don't ask why I still can't get sub-15, if I started cubing around 2009. That's plenty of years experience. I've been around since people bought Eastsheen cubes. I've been around since V-Cubes were all the rage, and they only made 5x5-7x7. I've been around since Dan Brown's tutorial was popular. I've been around since cube4you was the place to get cubes, and everyone was getting the Alpha V.

I'm the type of person that enjoys doing something for a long time, moves on something else, only to come back to the previous hobby. Which is why I've never been consistent with cubing. As of now, I average around 17 seconds for 3x3 (getting a handful of sub-15, and even sub-12 solves now and then). I average around 1 minute and 5-10 seconds for 4x4, and 2 minutes and 15 seconds for 5x5. I don't do much other than that.

I've recently got back into cubing, with my goal being sub-10 averages by next summer. My mains are now the MoYu Huanlong for 3x3, MoYu Aosu for 4x4, and Yuxin for 5x5. I'm not too into anything else, but just for kicks, my 2x2 main is a MoYu, my 6x6 is a ShengShou, 7x7 is also MoYu (pillowed), pyraminx is MoYu and megaminx is Qj. Been using CFOP since 2010, but I love to mess around with Roux (20-30s averages) and ZZ (same as Roux).

Aye and add me on CubingTime! Jonathan Fontan

Welcome to the forum! But it looks like you've been around for a longer time than I have. I just started cubing on 2013. Here you'll find plenty of good advice and links to resources where you can polish your skills and achieve those ambitious goals.

Welcome to the forums! :)

I think it may be a good idea for you to leave off CFOP for a little bit as it may help to take a break or see if you find any other method easier/faster/ enable you to progress faster.
