Awful QJ Cube

If you disassemble the cube, and triple check that the core is correctly assembled (it shall click down in place), you should be good to go, really. Try to drag only one center piece around the core to see if it changes side somewhere, as only one is "slideable", to prevent lock-ups. Should be no problem, really. They are pretty bad out of the box, but after some use, they become pretty good. I lubed mine with CRC, also on the core, and it's really good now.

Hey guys I just bought a bunch of new cubes, one of which was the QJ Mini 4x4.
So, out of the box it was very stiff and difficult to turn so I took it apart to loosen the screw and lube it. After doing this and putting it back together it can't do a double-layer turn. It's like the center is misaligned but it's not.
Can anyone help?

What's the best 4x4 to buy? I have a rubik's, dayan+mf8, and now this piece of shhh. The dayan is the best so far but I know it's not the best.

Thanks!

I own the Dayan, an X-Cube and a Sheng"Poo"Shou. The X-Cube is my favorite, It's a really nice cube and worth the high price IMO. It's the closest you'll get to 3x3x3 cube handling on a 4x4x4. Don't be scared off by the people who say that it's a high mantanance cube. I slapped mine together, added some lube and tensioned. It worked great straight away and now it's even better after a decent amount of solves :)
