Introduction:
As you may know, twenty one pilots has released a new song called ‘level of concern’. In the video, Tyler and Josh are making a song together, while being quarantined. They send a USB drive back and forth to each other in the mail, containing the contents of the song.
My general thought:
To make this cubing related, you could do various different things, as a music video, sending A scramble in the mail, and each time you try to get less moves, so on. Below is my list of ideas that could potentially work.
My cubing related ideas:
1. Solve a cube one move at a time and send it in the mail.
This is pretty straightforward, you solve a cube, 1 move at a time. This would be interesting, but wouldn’t be a great filler.
2. Send a cube and a scramble and try to get the fewest moves in it every time you send it.
This is a little different, and more interesting in my opinion. Keep in mind, this is like supposed to be a parody of the music video, instead of making music cubing related things.
3. Send a cube and scramble and try to get the fastest time every time it gets sent back.
This would be interesting, and pretty filling for a video.
Other points:
Towards the end of the video, they decorate the rooms, like they are in a concert, to add a little spice. Now I don’t know how this could be transitioned into cubing but there might be a way. If you have ideas, please let me know! I want to make this a real thing. And I might potentially task people on making there own, and maybe adding a little prize in there.
