averaging 15-20?

i know this has been asked before, but is extended cross really worth the time taken to learn? i haven not touched petrus before, and cant do extended cross very well. my intuition isnt that good u see =D

my friend, yish, does extended cross quite frequently, entirely using intuition.. i used to win him and now he owns me =(
to achieve average of 15s, is extended cross necessary? my LL is current around 6-7 together, so my f2l+cross needs to be 7-8 seconds.. my average for f2l+cross is roughly 12-13 now.. should i improve my LL first, or bring my f2l+cross to 10 seconds first? ( i have learnt OLL and PLL, but the algos are not realli optimzed yet.. some of them i found out myself.. will re-learn them after my exams.)

Extended cross should be used when you can see it, otherwise, try planning out the cross and following the first pair. If you have a 12-13 sec F2L, 18-19 second avg is about right.

No.

6.5 + 7.5 = 14
