Averaging 1:35 on 4x4

I prefer 3-3-2 edge pairing (unless that's what you meant). I recently switched to Hoya from Yau and I've finally been getting past my plateau. Idk if you already do this, but remember that one edge for each pair can be placed with normal moves (B, L, R, F2, etc) and only the other one needs to use r U' r' or whatever. Also just take advantage of open slots in general. Being color neutral really helps I think on 4x4, because it makes centers so much easier. I try to plan 3/4 colors I will use during inspection and then try to kinda solve them. All at the same time if that makes sense. Since were aceraging about the same you may already be doing all this stuff.

A good idea is to film some of your solves and see what you do that's good or what you do thats bad ad fix the bad.
Learn to recognize PLLl parity cases. when you get to PLL and you have parity, you can do the parity alg from different angles
and it will influence the PLL case you get. Also experiment on your own and look around for tricks and tips.
