Are all gear cubes made the same?

I had a quick search through the forums and cant seem to find anything that addresses this.

Im on the market for a gear cube. Some of them really appeal to me whereas others I think look awful. I mainly like black ones with big stickers.. and not much black space.... like this for example:



Whereas the cubes with small stickers and lots of black space dont appeal me to at all... for example




Anyway. Im just wondering. Are all gear cubes the same. Can I buy a gear cube like in the second pic and then buy new stickers/tiles and make it look like the one in the first pic..??

I don't quite understand what you are asking. But you could not fit any bigger stickers on the second one.

I was afraid that might be the case. You can kinda see in the second pic that the each cubie has like an indentation for the sticker to fit into.

So which brands of gear cubes will take those big stickers?
