Oh where I live it's like regularly 30-35 and the one Nebraskan Speedsolver posted has a registration fee of $50.yes, to register is 25 dollars per person not including tax.
oh... well then I'm poor, and 25 is a lot of money to me. 50 sounds like califonia 2.0. I guess it depends on the scale of the comp too. the one I'm looking at is one day comp that only starts at 10ish and only has 4 NxN events.Oh where I live it's like regularly 30-35 and the one Nebraskan Speedsolver posted has a registration fee of $50.
Yeah the size of the comp probably matters quite a bit.oh... well then I'm poor, and 25 is a lot of money to me. 50 sounds like califonia 2.0. I guess it depends on the scale of the comp too. the one I'm looking at is one day comp that only starts at 10ish and only has 4 NxN events.
yeah it's 3 days, but really, if you divide that 50 dollars by the events and days, really, its quite worth itoh... well then I'm poor, and 25 is a lot of money to me. 50 sounds like califonia 2.0. oh no, hotels won't be a problem at all, it is cubing custom for the native (you) to invite all of the out of staters into your home and provide transportation/food.yeah it's 3 days, but really, if you divide that 50 dollars by the events and days, really, its quite worth it
ofc, hotels are another subject![]()
Yea, the one I'm looking at is a two day comp that starts at 8ish and has all but blind events. The only reason I look at that one is because I live in the middle of nowhere in California, and every comp is like all the way up in San Francisco or all the way down to LA or San Diego (both way to far for me). The occasional Sacramento comp and the Calpoly comps are all I can afford. And hotels in California are a beast, so... yea. Looks like Sacramento it is!oh... well then I'm poor, and 25 is a lot of money to me. 50 sounds like califonia 2.0. yeh, I'm in LA so Sandiego is the farthest I can go still spending a lot though. Are you near Lancaster by chance?Yea, the one I'm looking at is a two day comp that starts at 8ish and has all but blind events. No, no... I'm much lower than that. Ever heard of Bakersfield? I'm about 30 to 45 minutes out of Bakersfield. In the country.yeh, I'm in LA so Sandiego is the farthest I can go still spending a lot though. Are you near Lancaster by chance?
Edit: not lancaster *face palm* I mean Oakland
I know you didn't ask me, but I'm like 15 minutes from Oakland.yeh, I'm in LA so Sandiego is the farthest I can go still spending a lot though. Are you near Lancaster by chance?

I think San Jose somps would be closer to you than Sac. Some other BASC comps are also closer to you than Sac comps.Yea, the one I'm looking at is a two day comp that starts at 8ish and has all but blind events. wait wait wait, you're near bakersfield? So where SCS used to be based. you are way closer to me than to sacremento. I'm in LA and I can make it to Bakersfield in less than 4 hours. are you in the desert? No, no... I'm much lower than that. Ever heard of Bakersfield? I'm about 30 to 45 minutes out of Bakersfield. 30 to 45 minutes from Bakersfield in the other direction. I live in Tulare County.wait wait wait, you're near bakersfield? So where SCS used to be based. you are way closer to me than to sacremento. I'm in LA and I can make it to Bakersfield in less than 4 hours. are you in the desert?

Most BASC comps are in San Francisco, and my parents don't like that area. Same with San Jose. The drive to Sacramento is also easier. We just take the highway straight up. My parents would also go to Sacramento over San Francisco any day.I think San Jose somps would be closer to you than Sac. Some other BASC comps are also closer to you than Sac comps.
Yep, just about.okay, your about 3 hours away from me. You're in-between me and Gsingh
yo stay away from San Fransisco (no offense to anyone there). Some scary stuff is happening there. My cousin she had to get out fast, cuz so many brain-dead homeless people were swarming in from everywhere. That place is turning into a lawless-metropolis.Most BASC comps are in San Francisco, and my parents don't like that area. Same with San Jose. The drive to Sacramento is also easier. The city is bad in some places, but the rest of the Bay Area is really nice. Better than Sac in a lot of placesyo stay away from San Fransisco (no offense to anyone there).
