For learning just drill algs aver and over a few timer. But for algs to recomend inneed a bit more informatation like what event or what method you use.
Learn the correct fingertricks, learn them from fast cubers (cubeskills is really good). Then grind the fingertricks and use jperm.net to drill your algs.
Make sure you know basic finger tricks.
Have a genuine desire to learn the set.
Set goals.
Track pairs, look for commutators and conjunctions, recognize triggers.
Use alg trainers.
Learning algs is easy. Retaining them is the hard part.
Personally, I yell the notation as I’m turning the cube and then I… jk. Okay fr. I learn all of my algs on an old rubiks so that the muscle memory really kicks in. The difficulty of turning forces me to slow down as I’m turning and that leaves way more memory than by just learning on a super smooth cube.
